Will leak detection damage my property?
No. We use non-invasive technology like thermal imaging, acoustic sensors, and ground-penetrating radar. No drilling, cutting, or demolition required in most cases.
Does insurance cover leak detection?
Many policies cover detection costs when water damage is present. We provide detailed reports for your insurance claim documentation.
How quickly can you respond?
Same-day response is often available for urgent situations. Regular appointments are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours.
What if you don't find a leak?
You receive a comprehensive report confirming no active leaks were detected. This documentation is valuable for insurance, property sales, or peace of mind.
Can you find a leak behind a wall without opening it?
Yes. Thermal imaging detects the temperature change from water in the wall cavity. Acoustic detects the sound of escaping water. We find the leak without cutting into the drywall.
How is plumbing leak detection different from what a plumber does?
Plumbers repair pipes. We find hidden leaks. A plumber needs to see the pipe to repair it. We tell them exactly where to look so they don't need to open multiple holes.
Can you detect leaks in any type of pipe?
Yes — copper, PVC, PEX, CPVC, galvanized steel, cast iron, and more. Different materials need different detection methods, and we have them all.
How long does it take to find a plumbing leak?
Most hidden plumbing leaks are found within 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on wall construction, pipe material, and accessibility.
Do you need access to the pipes?
For thermal imaging, no — we scan through finished surfaces. For acoustic correlation, we need access to the pipe at two points (valves, cleanouts, or exposed sections).
Can you find leaks in slab plumbing?
Yes. Slab plumbing leaks need a combined approach: GPR to map the in-slab pipes, thermal to find hot water anomalies, and acoustic to confirm the leak.
What if you don't find a leak?
You receive a report confirming no active leak was detected. This documentation is valuable for insurance, property sales, or peace of mind.
Do you detect gas line leaks?
For gas line leaks, you need a licensed gas fitter. We detect water and process fluid leaks only. However, our acoustic methods can sometimes identify the location of a gas leak for your gas fitter to confirm.
